 Local Gospel Artists Writes Song Dedicated To The Earth Quake Victims In Haiti and Chile. Half of Sales Derived From This Song Will Go Directly To Earth Quake Relief Charities That Vigorously Support Those Areas. Larry Stewart, a local gospel artist from Greenville, S.C. has written and recorded a song titled “Can You Tell That I Really Need You." “I felt compelled to do something to help the people who’s lives were shattered in the recent earth quakes in Haiti and Chile. I am crying out for help on their behalf ” says Stewart. Larry sings about the anguish, hurt and pain the people in those areas must be experiencing on an ongoing basis without sufficient aid. “I am hoping to raise several thousand dollars from the sale of this song, with half of the proceeds going directly to help purchase food, clothing and also provide shelter for the victims. Larry is asking everyone to help him in this endevor. Engineering and music composition for the song was performed by Bernette Williams, owner of Religitech Records. Additional vocals were performed by Virginia Sue Looney, another local gospel artist from Simpsonville, S.C. The News Anchor role was performed byToby Storms. They are all South Carolina residents.
